 A greeting from P. Phillips

Welcome to the seventh edition of the Rimini International Choral Workshop! It give me pleasure to take part again in this workshop, to be held from 30 August to 7 September 2008. During the week we will study many important works of Renaissance choral music to understand the stylistic aspects and the right sonorities. At the end of the course I will conduct the choir of the participants in a Gala Concert of our week’s work. You will meet other tutors, such as Ghislaine Morgan who will deal with the vocal topics, Andrea Angelini who will help me with the choir rehearsals and in discussing the theory of the choral art. This year you'll meet also the famous Colin Mawby for a Master Class in Choir Conducting and Choral Composing. Do come to this beautiful town to share our love for choral music! Peter Phillips.

........I am still in heaven after the workshop.  It was an extraordinary learning and cultural experience.  The repertoire was wonderful  I really appreciated receiving the music by internet in advance so as to learn it and not waste time learning the notes in rehearsal........
